Welcome to SANordic, the website for the Southern Adirondack Nordic Ski Club. Our goal for this site to provide information to anyone interested in Nordic skiing regardless of skill level, experience, or age. The purpose of the Club (as well as this site) is to enable skiers in the lower Adirondack area an avenue to contact other skiers and to learn about all of the many facets of nordic skiing that are available in our area.

It seems as if all of the storms and snowfalls are missing us. The local skiing is very thin! Check the conditions page for updates and contact the local areas before you go. The only good reliable skiing within a twenty minute drive is at Cronin's Golf Course in Warrenburg. You can park in the County Canoe Access parking lot just north of the golf course. You can ski from there to the course. Please try to stay off the greens, some are roped but others are not. It is a pretty place with the Hudson River running next to it. Let's hope for a signifcant snowfall.

For those of you who are involved with racing, the area regional racing scene has a newly formed club. HURT (Hudson United Racing Team) has no membership fees and a very entertaining website.http://www.hurtnordic.netne.net
